Lisa Chiya
Chief Executive Officer
Lisa brings over 20 years of third-party reproductive management to Surrogacy Mentor, through her current work as Founder and President of a leading surrogacy agency, The Genesis Group.
As a parent to three beautiful children via IVF and surrogacy herself, Lisa has a deep passion for family building and feels honored to be in a position to help surrogates along their selfless journeys. Ethics and altruism is at the core of her mission, and she is a founding member of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS), the leading regulatory body in the surrogacy and egg donation industry.
Surrogate Mentor and Intake Manager
Marielle Schuberth
Marielle serves as a Surrogate Mentor and Intake Manager, having completed three surrogacy journeys herself. She has always had a passion for helping people, spending the first part of her career in a hospital setting as a Nursing Assistant and Unit Coordinator. She lives in Coastal North Carolina, where she and her family enjoy spending as much time at the beach as possible.
Marielle is excited to continue her advocacy for surrogacy by guiding others through the process at Surrogacy Mentor.
Surrogate Engagement Specialist
Michala Gallina
Michala is our Surrogate Engagement Specialist, engaging new surrogacy applicants and providing our team with various project support. Michala is the mom of three girls living in the mountains of North Carolina.
She has always had a passion for helping others, with previous experience as a medical assistant, preschool teacher and a gestational surrogate, delivering a beautiful baby girl for a family in France.
